Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious or unsure why certain aspects of their life feel more difficult than they would like.
You may appear to be coping on the outside, while internally feeling stuck, exhausted or uncertain how to move forward.
Therapy offers a confidential space to talk openly, make sense of your experiences and begin to feel more steady in yourself.

You may be experiencing:

Therapy is not about being judged or told what to do. It is a space where you can think freely and explore what may be contributing to the way you feel.
Together we may begin to notice patterns in relationships, emotional responses or ways of coping that may no longer feel helpful.
Developing understanding can lead to meaningful and long-lasting change, helping you to feel more confident in your choices, more secure in yourself and better able to navigate life's challenges.
My approach is relational and integrative. I draw on psychodynamic understanding as well as contemporary psychological thinking to support each person as an individual.
I aim to offer a calm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly at your own pace.
Some people come with a clear difficulty they would like support with. Others come with a more general sense of unease, feeling stuck or overwhelmed. All are welcome.

I offer a free initial consultation so we can consider whether working together feels like the right fit.

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. Many people feel uncertain about whether their difficulties are "serious enough", if therapy will make them feel worse or worry about where to begin.
You are welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation to see whether therapy with me feels right for you.
